patriotism

Piglet’s class says the pledge of allegiance every morning.  Each day a lucky child gets to hold the flag for the others – this is a big honor and one that Piglet always wants to do.  She always points out the flag when we’re out and about and asked to hold it (even the gigantic ones at car dealerships).  We just need to work on the pronunciation since she tends to leave out the “l” – she might just offend someone when she yells and points.

She also says the pledge at random times…it took us a while to figure out what she was saying because it definitely wasn’t completely obvious.

Piglet’s version of the Pledge of Allegiance:

to the piglet
one nation under God
invissle
to the piglet
one nation under God
invissle
everybody sit down
bravo
